FACE & LIP FILLERS
Face and lip fillers in our clinic in Istanbul, Turkey.
The wrinkles around the eyes, especially between the brows, the sad lines at the nose edges, and the under-eye hollows and tear duct pits are the target areas. It is also used on the fine wrinkles around the mouth and the marionette lines (pits).
Additionally, areas like the lips, temple, chin, and cheekbone are the most common facial areas where filler injections are used. These filler treatments work on static wrinkles or wrinkles that already exist independently of mimicry, as opposed to other kinds of filler treatments that are effective on wrinkles generated as a result of mimicry.
After a comprehensive medical examination and face-to-face consultation, our plastic surgeon will discuss where and how to apply the procedure while considering the patient's expectations. The final decision will be made in consultation with the patient.
Hyaluronic Acids
This category of filler materials is the most widely utilized globally and is considered to be the safest. Many bodily tissues naturally contain hyaluronic acid. This set of products seldom results in adverse effects, including redness, swelling, or moderate bruising. Foreign body responses are far less common than the other filler categories with this material. Their effectiveness typically lasts between nine and twelve months.
Under-Eye Light Filler
The light filler includes hyaluronic acid, eight amino acids which form a complex for skin reconstruction, three antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, and lidocaine for the patient's comfort.
Collagen Fillers
This category consists of fillers often made from beef collagen. Well-liked for 20 years, this group is not preferred today due to advancements in hyaluronic acid technology and the potential for allergic responses. Before application, allergy testing is required for many items in this category.
Synthetic Fillers
The persistence of the products included in this group is longer compared to hyaluronic acids. Calcium hydroxyapatite and poly-L-lactic acid are the most commonly used types of synthetic fillers. Due to allergic reactions, it is occasionally preferred in our clinic.
