What is liposuction?

Liposuction, or briefly Lipo, is used to remove fat from areas of the body such as the abdomen, upper arms, buttocks, calves and ankles, chest and back, hips and thighs, chin and neck, that haven't responded to diet and exercise. In addition, liposuction can sometimes be used for breast reduction or gynecomastia treatment.

Differences from classic liposuction
With Vaser Lipo, fat is broken down using ultrasonic waves and sucked out in a liquid form. In this way, the wavy surface appearance likely to occur after classic liposuction will not appear. Unlike other methods, Vaser Lipo targets only fat cells. This way, other essential tissues (such as connective tissue, vessels, and nerves) are not damaged.

How is Vaser liposuction performed?
In the Vaser Lipo liposuction method, the subcutaneous fat tissue is liquefied using an ultrasonic wave that acts only on the fat cells. Fat cells that have been removed from the skin surface and broken down are removed from the body by pulling thin cannulas.

What should I do after a Vaser lipo?
